This Refund Policy explains how our "100% Job Placement Guarantee — or your money back" commitment works at R.S. Technical Institute of Fire & Safety Management — Ballia Branch, and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. What This Policy Covers
Our money-back guarantee applies only to the placement-assistance portion of your fees ("Placement Charges") — it does not apply to training fees, registration fees, examination/certification fees, study material charges, hostel charges, or any other component of the total fee paid. Placement Charges will be specified separately in your admission receipt/fee structure at the time of enrollment.
2. Eligibility for Placement-Charge Refund
A refund of the Placement Charges will be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:
- Full course completion: You have completed the entire course duration (e.g., the 45-day training) and obtained your certification from the relevant awarding body (NSDVE/NCVTE/BSS Board, MSBTE Board, NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA, as applicable).
- Satisfactory attendance & conduct: You maintained the minimum attendance percentage (as communicated at admission) and complied with institute rules of conduct throughout training.
- Participation in placement process: You actively attended the 1-week interview preparation programme and participated in all interview/placement drives arranged by the institute during the guarantee period.
- Reasonable offer not accepted/available: The institute was unable to provide you with at least one reasonable job offer matching your qualification, course, and the role/location/salary band communicated at the time of enrollment, within the guarantee period specified in your admission documents.
- Claim timing: The refund claim is raised in writing (email or written letter to the branch) within 30 days of the end of the guarantee period stated on your admission form/receipt.
3. What Is NOT Covered / Grounds for Refund Refusal
The placement-charge refund will not apply, and Placement Charges are forfeited, if:
- You refuse, without valid reason, a reasonable job offer arranged by the institute that matches your course, qualification, and the terms communicated at enrollment (including reasonable relocation where applicable to the industry).
- You fail to complete the course, drop out, or do not meet the minimum attendance/assessment requirements.
- You do not actively participate in the interview preparation programme or scheduled placement drives.
- You independently secure employment outside of the institute's placement process during the guarantee period.
- The delay or unavailability of placement is due to circumstances beyond the institute's reasonable control (e.g., industry-wide hiring slowdown, force majeure, incomplete/incorrect documentation submitted by the student, or background-check/medical disqualification by the employer).
- The refund claim is raised after the claim window stated in Section 2(5) above.
4. Non-Refundable Fees
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances, except where required by law:
- Registration/admission fee
- Training/tuition fee
- Examination and certification fee (payable to the awarding board/university)
- Study material, uniform, or ID card charges
- Hostel, mess, or facility charges once availed
5. Refund Process
To claim a Placement-Charge refund:
- Submit a written refund request to your enrolling branch (Sahatwar, Reoti, or Ballia City) along with your admission receipt, certificate copy, and attendance/placement-participation record.
- The institute will review your claim against the eligibility conditions in Section 2 within 15 working days of receiving a complete request.
- If approved, the refund of Placement Charges will be processed to the original mode of payment (or bank transfer) within 30 working days of approval.
- If a claim is rejected, the institute will communicate the specific reason in writing, with reference to the condition(s) in Section 3 that applied.
6. Course Transfer / Branch Transfer (Alternative to Refund)
Where a refund claim does not meet the eligibility criteria above, the institute may, at its discretion, offer the student an alternative such as an extended placement-assistance period, an additional interview preparation cycle, or transfer to another course/batch, in place of a cash refund.
7. Fee Disputes
Any dispute regarding fee payment, refund eligibility, or the placement guarantee should first be raised with the branch counsellor/manager at your enrolling branch. If unresolved, it will be handled as per the “Governing Law & Jurisdiction” clause in our Terms & Conditions (courts at Ballia, Uttar Pradesh).
